These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Careers24 platform, including our website, mobile application, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Careers24 Technologies Private Limited ("Careers24", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Platform in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you confirm you have obtained parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

2. Description of Services

Careers24 offers the following services (the "Services"):

• Jobs Board — Curated job listings matched to your profile.
• AI Resume Builder — AI-assisted résumé creation and ATS optimisation.
• Past Papers — University and competitive exam question papers.
• Mock Exams (MCQ) — Practice tests with AI-generated feedback.
• Books & Notes — Reference textbooks and verified topper notes.
• Marketplace — Third-party and Careers24-curated digital products.
• My Library — Centralised access to all purchased digital content.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at legal@careers24.in if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. Careers24 will not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same individual.

4. Purchases, Payments & Billing

Certain content and services on the Platform are available for purchase ("Paid Content"). All transactions are processed by Cashfree Payments India Private Limited and are subject to their terms. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. GST at the applicable rate will be charged on all purchases.

Upon successful payment you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the relevant Paid Content for personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not constitute a sale of intellectual property. Careers24 reserves the right to change pricing at any time; changes do not affect orders already completed.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Our refund policy is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because all purchased content is digital, please review the policy carefully before making a purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software — is the property of Careers24 or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, prepare derivative works, or otherwise exploit any content without our prior written consent.

User-Generated Content: By submitting any content (notes, resumes, feedback) to the Platform, you grant Careers24 a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display such content solely for operating and improving the Platform. You retain all ownership rights.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to collect data from the Platform without prior written permission.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any purchased digital content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Platform's software.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund and, where appropriate, legal action.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (e.g., payment processors, analytics providers). These links are provided for convenience only. Careers24 has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party sites. Access to third-party services is at your own risk.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect, process, and store your personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CAREERS24 DOES NOT WARRANT THAT (a) THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; (b) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; (c) THE PLATFORM OR ITS SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR (d) THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE PLATFORM WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

Job listings on our Platform are provided for informational purposes only. Careers24 does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview calls, or placement results.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAREERS24 AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO CAREERS24 IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Careers24 and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including any intellectual property rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Platform. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately; purchased licences become void without refund except where required by law.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or a prominent in-app notice.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
